Karin Royle is a solo practitioner and a seasoned attorney with nearly two decades of experience handling complex legal matters involving financial issues, litigation, and fiduciary responsibility. Her practice, Royle Law, PLLC, focuses on estate planning, drawing on a unique background that combines high-level courtroom experience with hands-on fiduciary service.
As a passion project, Karin serves as Co-Principal Member of Valley of the Sun Fiduciary, LLC, where she is the designated licensed fiduciary. In that role, she regularly acts as trustee, personal representative, and agent under powers of attorney, assisting families with trust and estate administration. Her fiduciary work provides her with a practical, real-world perspective on how estate plans function when they matter most—an insight that directly informs the thoughtful, effective plans she creates for her clients.
Before founding her estate planning practice, Karin spent over a decade in public service and litigation. She served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, where she handled complex matters in both the Capital Litigation Section and the Fraud & Special Prosecutions Section. Her work included post-conviction death penalty litigation and the prosecution of mortgage and real estate fraud, collaborating closely with financial investigators and federal task forces. Earlier in her career, she was a Deputy County Attorney in Maricopa County, where she prosecuted felony cases and developed extensive experience in trial advocacy, forensic evidence, and case strategy.
Throughout her career, Karin has been recognized for her work in victim advocacy and financial crime prosecution. She has testified as an expert regarding the financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult and has been invited to present on topics including real estate fraud, vehicular crimes, and trial preparation.
Karin’s approach to estate planning is shaped by both experience and perspective. She understands not only how to design a plan, but how that plan will be carried out—by fiduciaries, through administration, and under real-world pressures. Her goal is to create plans that are clear, effective, and built to work when families need them most.

Royle Law
I created Royle Law, PLLC, to help individuals and families in the greater Phoenix area who value clarity and a more thoughtful approach to planning. The goal is not simply to create documents, but to design a plan that fits seamlessly into your life—both now and in the years ahead.
A More Refined Approach
Estate planning is often presented as either overly complex or overly simplistic. In reality, it requires a more measured approach. A well-designed estate plan should feel clear and manageable. It should not introduce unnecessary complexity or leave you with documents you don’t fully understand.
Every recommendation is made with intention—balancing efficiency, effectiveness, and long-term practicality. The result is a plan that is both streamlined and complete, giving you confidence in how everything works.
Some clients benefit from a comprehensive trust-based plan. Others are better served by a carefully structured will-based plan. The right approach depends on your circumstances—not a predetermined formula.
My role is to guide you through these decisions with clarity and perspective, so your plan reflects what is appropriate for you and the people, pets, and causes you care about.
Designed for Real Life
Most of my clients are busy professionals or retirees who have put off estate planning—not because they don’t care, but because the process often feels unclear or time-consuming.
The process at Royle Law is designed to make it easier to move forward. It’s structured, efficient, and respectful of your time, while still giving you the space to think through important decisions.
You’ll receive clear guidance at each step, so you can make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed.
What Makes Royle Law Different
Royle Law is built on a simple idea: estate planning should be thoughtful, not transactional.
Measured, not excessive. Plans are tailored to your actual needs.
Clear, not complicated. You’ll understand how everything works.
Deliberate, not rushed. Decisions are made with care and perspective.
Long-term, not one-time. Planning that evolves as your life changes.
You’ll also receive guidance on implementing your plan, including trust funding instructions, so your plan functions as intended in practice, not just on paper.
Why This Work Matters
Estate planning is ultimately about taking responsibility—for what you’ve built and for what matters most to you. That may mean providing for loved ones, supporting charitable causes, or shaping the legacy you leave behind. It’s work that deserves care, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach. I don’t take that responsibility lightly, and approach each client’s plan with the level of focus it deserves.
